The officers from Kaladhungi Range Forest informed that the bridge is 90-feet-long and 5-feet-wide. They also mentioned the bridge has been made from bamboo, rope, and grass, and no cement or iron was used. As per reports from the local media, the construction was completed within 10 days with the cost of ₹2 Lakh.

To ensure that the bridge is not being used by humans, forest officials will patrol the area. They have also aimed to grow creepers and grass to entice animals towards using the bridge.

Since the Kaladhungi-Nainital highway is the main route to Nainital, it is always stormed with vehicles. It creates problems for leopards and reptiles like lizards, rodent squirrels, and snakes who live there. Very often, while crossing the roads, animals become the victims of vehicular accidents. After the construction of the first eco-bridge in Uttarakhand, it will become easier to save the lives of these innocent animals.
