#Vegan Alert: Genelia and Ritesh Deshmukh to launch Imagine Meats – a plant-based meat store

Veganism is said to be the future as a sustainable option to reduce animal farming. But with common people used to the taste of meat, it will be difficult to convince them to quit. But thanks to plant-based meat, you can get the taste of non-veg even with the plant-based product. Recent news on this topic is a new plant-based meat store named Imagine Meats is coming soon. And this one is launched by Bollywood Couple Genelia and Ritesh Deshmukh.

Imagine Meats

As per reports, the actor couple has partnered with US-based global ingredients manufacturer Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) and Good Foods Institute to launch various plant-based meat products under the new label.

Plant-based meat is already available in the market, but Imagine Meats is planning to launch products that will suit the Indian palate. From plant-based seekh kebabs, chicken tikka, lamb keema, chicken keema, they are going to have a whole range of products we are used to already.

Both Ritesh and Genelia turned vegetarian four years back. And although they didn't miss non-veg, they definitely missed the taste of it. The idea of launching their own brand came after they attended the Good Food Conference in the USA. They have been polishing the idea ever since, and are now all set to launch.

Talking about the launch, Imagine Meats could hit the market towards the last quarter of the year.
