Knock Knock: IKEA here! The furniture giant reaches Navi Mumbai

We were all envy when Hyderabad got the first IKEA store in the country. But the frown is about to turn into a smile as the furniture giant is all set to open shop in your neighbourhood. Well, not exactly in the neighbourhood more like the neighbouring town, as IKEA opens store in Navi Mumbai. At least, people in Navi Mumbai, it's your time to rejoice!

IKEA Comes to Navi Mumbai

The upcoming store in Thurbe will be spread across a whopping 4,30,000 sq. ft of space. With this huge space, we hope there will be all kinds of furniture and accessories and obviously a lot better than the Hyderabad store.

And if you've always been crushing on IKEA furniture and are going to buy stuff on a regular basis, we have got something special for you. You can avail membership plans at the new store and receive special privileges, personalized recommendations, and e-commerce service. Currently, in construction stages, we hope the store is up and running by the end of summer, and we can stock up before the Mumbai rains spoil the fun.

But if you were hoping for something closer to the city, worry not. IKEA is also planning at least one store closer to the city so that you don't have to travel all the way to Navi Mumbai every time you want to shop from IKEA.
