Lavish restaurants, 5-star hotels, exotic cuisine are all fun but sometimes that local touch can make our “Food Life” so fun and interesting. We have listed down a few amazing street foods that you need to try soon.
1.EGG STALL AT CHETAK CIRCLE
A big spoon of mayo, squeeze of ketchup, the spread of yummy flavored sauces on top of EGGS! This egg stall at Chetak is serving nothing less than decadent dishes. Eggs with pizza toppings, Egg Chopsey, Egg nice, your basic Bhurji with a twist in the gravy and what not.
The Master Chef – Mr. Jai Kumar Valecha is famous for his “Tava” skills.
2. SANDWICH STALL AT PANCHVATI, NEAR RK MALL
Life is like a sandwich, you have to fill it with the best ingredients. We have something very close to this statement. So this stall is run by a couple and they are the best.
Your homely sandwich combinations with lots and lots of butter. You can try their grilled ‘Namkeen and cheese sandwich’ or ‘Masala Potato cheese Sandwich’. They are cooked to Perfection.
3. KACHORI Nera Bansi Pan
If you are craving those Chatpati, spicy and mouth-watering Kachoris, you have to try these. They are served with ‘Mini Dahi bade’ and this combination is making us drool. They have a constant line from early morning and we advise you to eat them fresh and hot at the stall.
4. MOMOS POINT, FATEHSAGAR
We will always root for this place. A small stand at the curve of Fatehsagar road and they have the most scrumptious momos.
Veg and paneer momos, Manchurian, Paneer Chilly, Fried Rice and much more that comes out of this mini stall. Mayo and the Schezwan chutney brings out the authentic taste of the little dumplings but with just enough twist.
5. SINDHI DAL PAKWAN, OUTSIDE RMV SCHOOL
Fried chilly on the side of dal, chopped onions on top, mint chutney to go with and crispy-crispy Pakwaan. This is your ultimate Sunday breakfast. You cannot just stop at one. Good food, Good mood.
6. FIVE FLAVOR PANI PURI
Pani puri just got more interesting than ever. “Hajmola, Lasan, Pudhina, Heeng and regular”; with each Pani puri experience a new flavor. You can mix any two, choose your favorite water concoction, try them all, stick to one… you have all the options available.
7. SUKHADIYA CIRCLE
So here we have the whole food joint for you. The kiosks serve everything – from starters to dessert you get everything. “Chotu” ki Pani-puri, “Pandit” ki pav bhaji, “Prince” Ke Faluda are few samosa bites that are highly recommended.
8. SRI SAI SIGDI DOSA, Near Menaria Guest House
The menu here has a list of 260 Dosas. Phew, that’s a looooooong list. We are still confused by what will be different in each of these dosa’s but apparently from such a small stall, the owner works his magic.
9. BANSI PAN WALLA
This place is more than famous. This is literally a hangout spot. And the paan they make are the perfect ending to any meal. A cool ice paan or Meetha Paan can really replace desserts. They are not too heavy and the Paan leaf has many curative and healing properties. It’s a win-win situation.
