1. GUIDE
Devanand was portraying the character of a guide who takes around tourists for the cityscape. And a love story develops over the duration of the movie. You can see the old infrastructure near the Fatehsagar Lake clearly. It is a Tale of Times people.
The OLD lanes of the OLD city make us feel so nostalgic. We sure can do with a Guide like him to sing the verses of The Venice Of East.
2. OCTOPUSSY
“Pistols at dawn; it’s a little old-fashioned, isn’t it?” - Mr. Moore had us here. We thought Udaipur got famous now, but Mr. Bond was a die-hard fan of the city since 1983.
Well, he sure had fun shooting. The key locations included Jag Mandir and Taj Lake Palace.

The most fun song of the movie was shot at the Jagmandir Palace and it was grand.
