Gulabi chai also known as ‘noon chai’ or ‘sheer chai’ is Kashmiri tea made from gunpowder tea, milk, and baking soda. It is also caffeine free which makes it a great beverage for all the tea lovers who want to cut down on their caffeine intake. Baner Katta serves the best gulabi chai in town with Masala Khichiya which we recommend to accompany the chai. This place will cost you around 400 rupees for two.

Yes, you heard that right. We can never get enough chocolate or enough chai so we now have the combination of both. This open airy café named ‘Chaikund’ along the Mulshi road serves the delicious hot chocolate chai with few more surprising dishes such as Thalipeeth (served with curd) and Kothimbir Vadi (served with ketchup). The cost for two people is approximately Rs. 300 which makes it a great bargain.
